Multi-sport camp
Little Raider Camps at West Rusk June 2-5
West Rusk High School is once again hosting its Little Raider Camp for students that will be in the third through sixth grade in the upcoming 2025-26 school year.
The camp will be June 2-5, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day. The cost is $25 per camper, or $45 for two children for the same family, $55 for three children from the same family.
Drop-off and pick-up will be at the gate at Bruce Bradshaw Stadium on campus each day.

BASEBALL
Gilmer Buckeye camp May 19-21
Gilmer High School’s baseball program will host its annual summer camp at GHS baseball field on May 19-21. If rain, the camp will move to the high school gym.
Gilmer coaches and players will be instructors for the camp, and each camper receives instruction on fundamentals and a camp T-shirt.
Session one each day will be 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and for the six through 10-year-olds. Session two will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., and for ages 11 through 14.
Registration is $60 per camper, and any checks should be made out to Ronnie McNeel. For multiple children from the same family, it’s $15 extra per child.

Bulldog Summer Camp May 26-28 at Driller Park
The Kilgore Bulldog Summer 2025 Baseball Camp is just about here.
The camp will be Monday, May 26 through Wednesday, May 28 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Driller Park in Kilgore for second through ninth graders in the 2024-25 school year.
The camp is conducted by the Kilgore High School coaching staff and former players.
The registration fee for the camp is $75, which includes camp instruction, and a T-shirt. Registration forms should be turned in the first day of camp.
Campers should bring a glove, bat and helmet, and concession stand will be available for water and Gatorade.

VOLLEYBALL
KHS camp July 15-17
Kilgore High School volleyball coach Mika Hubbard will lead the annual KHS volleyball camp on July 15-17 at the high school, on Longview Street in Kilgore.
Camp will be 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day for campers in first through sixth grades; from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. each day for seventh and eighth graders; and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily for freshmen.
Registration is $50, which includes instruction and a camp T-shirt – register by June 18 to be sure to get a shirt.
Coach Hubbard plans instruction in basic skills, including overhead and forearm passing, hitting and serving, and games based on the techniques learned.

Sabine camp June 2-3
Sabine High School will host a volleyball camp on Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 3, for campers entering fifth grade through eighth grade.

Campers entering fifth and sixth grades will have camp from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on those days; camp for incoming seventh graders will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.; and eighth graders will be in camp from 2 until 4.

BASKETBALL
Tatum Lady Eagles camp May 27-29
Tatum High School’s Lady Eagles basketball program will host camp on May 27-29 at THS, for incoming second through fifth graders, then for incoming sixth through ninth graders.

Camp for second through fifth graders will be from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. each day, and registration for each camper is $35. For sixth through ninth grade campers, it’ll be from 9 until 11 a.m. each day, and registration for that age group is $50. Registration will be discounted by $10 for two or more campers from the same family. Campers do receive a T-shirt.
Coaches ask that campers arrive at 8:45 a.m., shortly before camp starts, for stretching.

Sabine girls camp May 27-28; boys camp May 29-30
Sabine will have basketball camps for boys and girls at the end of this month.
The girls camp will be at the Sabine High gym on May 27-28, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. for kids who will be in third, fourth or fifth grade this coming school year; and camp for kids who will be in sixth through ninth grades will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day.

Boys camp will be May 29-30. Third through fifth grades will be in camp at the elementary gymnasium from 8:30 until 10 a.m.; sixth through eighth graders will be at the high school gym, from 11 a.m. until 12:30; and freshmen will be at the high school, as well, from 2 p.m. until 4.

Stephanie Williams Girls Camp July 7-10
Kilgore College coach Stephanie Williams will welcome girls from kindergarten age through seniors for her basketball camp July 7-10 at Masters Gymnasium.
Girls from kindergarten through sixth grade will be in camp from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day, and girls from seventh through 12th grades will have camp from 1 until 3 each day.
Camp registration is $75 and includes instruction, camp T-shirts and daily awards. Campers should bring gym shorts, shirt, socks and basketball shoes. The camp is directed by Stephanie Williams, coach of the Lady Rangers and the coach of the year.

Robert Byrd KC boys camp July 14-17
Boys ages five through 17 are welcome to attend KC’s boys basketball camp, hosted by head men’s basketball coach Robert Byrd.
The camp will be at Masters Gymnasium on July 14-17. Registration is $75, and the camp will be from 9 a.m. until noon each day. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the first day. Sign-up fee includes a camp ball, instruction, a T-shirt and an awards ceremony with a pizza party on the final day.
Joining coach Byrd in teaching the camp will be assistant coaches, other college coaches and current KC basketball players.
Campers should wear proper clothes for playing basketball: gym shorts, a T-shirt or jersey, socks and basketball shoes.

RUNNING
Sabine Running Club hosts camp June 4-6
The Sabine Running Club will host a three-day camp beginning June 4 at James Bamberg Stadium on campus.

Camp will be from 7 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. all three days, for kids entering third through ninth grades.

SOFTBALL
Sabine camp June 10-11
Softball camp for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade at Sabine High School will be June 10-11 at Stacey Bryce Field (at 5424 FM 1252 West).

Campers in kindergarten through third grades will be in session daily from 8:30 until 11 a.m., and campers in fourth through sixth grades from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Lady Cardinals soccer camp June 12-13
Sabine girls soccer will host camp for girls entering kindergarten through ninth grades on June 12-13, at the high school.
Kindergarten through fourth graders will be in camp from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on those days; kids entering fifth through ninth grades will be in camp from 10:30 until noon.

Boys soccer camp July 14-15
Sabine will also host a soccer camp for boys about a month later, on July 14-15 at James Bamberg Stadium on campus.
Boys that will be going into kindergarten, first or second grades will have camp from 9 until 10 a.m. each day; campers in grades three, four or five will have camp from 10 a.m. until 11 on those days.

FOOTBALL
Kilgore College camp June 9-12
Football camp at Kilgore College – a longstanding tradition under several head coaches – will be June 9-12 at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium, led by championship coach Willie Gooden and Rangers’ assistant coaches.
This is a non-contact camp, with emphasis on basic skill development for younger campers, and for older campers, time spent on intermediate skills to prepare them for competition.
Players will be divided in groups according to age and position, to better teach individual skills.
Drop-offs each day will be 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., and pick-up between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Registration is $150, and includes instruction, meals, a KC football and a camp certificate. A $50 deposit is due at registration, and is non-refundable after May 31. Balance is due at registration.

Sabine Cardinals Camp July 28-30
Football camp for kids entering first through ninth grades will be held at James Bamberg Stadium at Sabine High on July 28-30.

Boys in seventh through ninth grades will be in camp daily from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.; boys going into first through sixth grade will have camp each evening from 6 p.m. until 8.

CONDITIONING
Troup to host Speed-Strength-Agility-Quickness camp
Troup High School will host a speed, strength, agility and quickness camp throughout the month of June – June 2 through 27th – for both boys and girls.
The camp will be at East Texas Legends Gym at 802 E. Wilkinson Drive in Troup.
For boys ages seven through 12, camp will be Tuesdays and Thursdays in that time frame from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. There’s a $150 registration fee. Camp for boys ages 13 and up will be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. until 8, a $175 registration fee.
For the girls, both age groups have a $150 registration fee – there is a $50 deposit due at registration. Girls ages seven through 12 will have camp on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. until 6, and girls ages 13 and up, camp on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 until 8.
