VOLLEYBALL PLAYOFFS TONIGHT FOR EVERY-FREAKIN’-BODY! | Here is tonight’s schedule, and more, for all the teams in the ETBlitz coverage area

Here’s the schedule for all of the ETBlitz.com-area teams remaining in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) volleyball playoffs.

All of the games are second, or area, round games, and they’re all TONIGHT, Thursday night. Third round, or regional semifinal games, will be played at the early part of next week. On the schedule below, ETBlitz.com-area teams are in BOLD.

CLASS 4A

Henderson (27-10) vs. Sulphur Springs (27-14), Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Winona High School. Henderson advanced to the second round with a 25-22, 25-20, 25-18 sweep of Van on Tuesday night in Gladewater. Sulphur Springs went to the second round after a 25-20, 25-23, 28-26 sweep of Community. The Henderson-SS winner will play either Waxahachie Life (21-13) or Celina (22-14) in the regional semifinals.

Gilmer (23-16) vs. Caddo Mills (29-12), Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Sulphur Springs High School. Gilmer’s Lady Buckeyes defeated Lindale in round one, 21-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20, on Tuesday at Mineola. Caddo Mills swept Paris, 25-14, 25-20, 25-18, Tuesday night at home. The Gilmer-Caddo Mills winner will meet either Panther Creek (23-11) or Kennedale (14-16) in the next round. All tickets for tonight are cash and available at the door.

CLASS 3A

Tatum (40-5) vs. Hughes Springs (24-17), Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Pine Tree High School in Longview. The Lady Eagles swept Mineola, 25-17, 25-18, 25-19, on Monday. Hughes Springs swept New Boston, 25-21, 25-23, 25-14, on Tuesday night in Pittsburg. The Tatum-Hughes Springs winner advances to play either Ponder (34-5) or Pottsboro (16-17-1). White Oak (29-17) vs. New Diana (28-11), Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Spring Hill High School in Longview. White Oak’s Ladynecks beat Eustace in three sets on Tuesday night, 25-11, 25-15, 25-21. New Diana swept Atlanta, 25-19, 25-16, 27-25, in Marshall on Monday night. The White Oak-New Diana winner will face either Whitesboro (24-16) or Gunter (30-1) in the regional semifinals next week. West Rusk (28-12) vs. Dekalb (22-16), Thursday night, 7 p.m. at Pittsburg High School The Lady Raiders beat Edgewood in four, 26-28, 25-17, 25-14, 25-23, Monday night in Hawkins to get to the second round. The winner of WR-Dekalb will get either Boyd (33-4) or Blue Ridge (26-16) in the regional semis. Tickets can be bought online at www.pirates.pittsburgisd.net or at the door, but no cash is accepted. Texas High School Coaches Association passes, Texas Girls Coaches Association passes, senior passes and district passes are all accepted.

Troup (21-19) vs. Harmony (31-7), Thursday night, 7 p.m. at Tyler High School (formerly John Tyler). Troup went the distance with Grand Saline, but won in five, 27-25, 21-25, 25-22, 18-25, 17-15, on Monday night in Hawkins. Harmony swept Queen City, 25-19, 25-18, 25-12.
