Overton 22, New Summerfield 0 (Tuesday): As the high man of the night on Tuesday, Rylan Holleman had a home run and a whopping six – 6 – RBI in this beat-down of New Summerfield.

Jayden Edwards had a triple and an RBI, and Landon Hill got the win on the mound, with eight strikeouts in three innings.

Also at the plate for the Mustangs, Bryson Bobbitt and Joey Zalman had 2 RBI each, and Isaiah Hawkins, Bryce Still and Chris Andrade each had an RBI.

Overton will host Big Sandy on Thursday night at 6.

Daingerfield 8, Sabine 2 (Tuesday): Jayden Mitchell of Daingerfield had a huge night in Liberty City, with a double, a single and 4 RBI, as the Tigers got by Sabine, 8-2, in District 15-3A.

For Sabine, Jaydan McPherson had three singles and on the mound, Hudson Pepper pitched 5 1/3 innings, with one strikeout and three walks. Dalton Taylor and Hudson Pepper each had an RBI.

New Diana 5, Sabine 4 (Monday): Sabine just darn near came back in this one, going down 5-0 to the Eagles on the road before roaring back – just falling a run short of tying the game.

McPherson had four strikeouts and two walks over four innings; Lincoln Royce struck out five.

Austin Kerns was the big dog for ND, with a triple a single and 2 RBI, and Cohle Sherman also had a double and 2 RBI for the Eagles.

At the plate for coach Michael Mayfield’s Cardinals, Cade Silvertooth and Hudson Pepper each had a hit an RBI.

Tatum 13, Jefferson 0 (Tuesday): A guy with the same name as his school came up big for that school on Tuesday night, and so did Brody Downs.

Cayden Tatum had two hits and 2 RBI, and Downs did the same thing, in this shutout win over the Jefferson Bulldogs, 13-0.

Grant Adcock, Ashby Anthony and Kohen Kiefer each had a double for the Eagles, and teammate Dustin Henigan had two hits and scored three times in the win.

Jaxen Prince and Cooper Whiteus each had an RBI.

On the mound, Carson Gonzalez had three strikeouts in as many innings, and Anthony pitched two innings, with a strikeout.

Tatum is off the remainder of this week and is back in action Tuesday at home against Troup, a 7 p.m. start.

West Rusk 9, Elysian Fields 1 (Tuesday): Ty Harper had a double, a single and 4 RBI in this rout of the YellowJackets.

Kullin Tavarez had a double, a single and 2 RBI, and Cole Jackson also had a double and a single in this eight-run win.

Garrett Sipes had a single and 2 RBI, as well.

Tavarez got the win on the mound, with eight strikeouts and two walks in a seven-inning complete game.
