KILGORE-GILMER EYE CARE CENTERS EYE SPY! | First-ever edition of Eye Spy takes a look at Overton’s state title appearance

Here at ETBlitz.com, we’re in the business of doing a few things. One of them is informing you guys about sports here in East Texas (the “ET” in “ETBlitz”). Another is just plain ol’ having fun. And showing you guys having fun.
That’s where our new feature, Eye Spy, comes in.
This fall, one of our advertising partners, Kilgore-Gilmer Eye Care Centers, is sponsoring our newest feature, and it’s called Eye Spy. And it’s simple: we’re just going to show you guys, the fans. It’s a fan page, with nothing but photos and videos sent in by you guys.
You read that right.
Go to a sporting event, shoot some photos or a short video (like between 20 and 30 seconds, and it’s gotta be clean, or we can’t use it) or you and your friends, or friends and family, hanging out at the game. And we’re talking about all of our coverage area, so we’ll name it, in alphabetical order: Arp, Gilmer, Gladewater, Henderson, Kilgore, Kilgore College, Leverett’s Chapel, Overton, Sabine, Tatum, Troup, West Rusk, White Oak. If you’re from there, and you’re at a game or a sports event featuring ANY of those programs, send us something.
Our very first feature is Thursday’s Overton-Collinsville game, the UIL Class 2A, Division II state baseball championship, that was played at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. That’ll probably also be our last one until the 2025-26 school year starts.
When the school year begins, we’ll have a special phone number you guys will be able to send the photos and videos to, and then they’ll be right here on the site, and probably also on our socials, on Facebook and on Instagram.
And this is made possible by the great folks at Kilgore-Gilmer Eye Care Centers, where you get the optimum, the very best, in eye care, and have been since 1976.
