We hope that you enjoy a meal and maybe even a little football, even those who prepared the food; we hope that if your family has a team in the high school football playoffs this weekend, they have success; and our prayers are that if your loved ones are able, they were home with you at some point. We’re thankful for God and his blessings for our staff and their families; we’re thankful for this nation; we’re thankful that we live in a place called East Texas and what it means to us; we know we’re blessed to have you guys, our readers, and our advertising partners, and we will never take you for granted; and we look forward to the remainder of the football season and hopefully to helping you enjoy the rest of the 2025-2026 school year.
