A few of the high school programs in the ETBlitz.com coverage area – Arp, Sabine, West Rusk, Troup – gathered on Thursday for the Arp Invitational Relays.

Paced by some epic performances by Sadie Loftis and Sarah Roberts, among others, Sabine won the varsity girls team title (with a school record or two broken in the process); West Rusk won the boys; and the Sabine junior varsity boys took that team title.

Everyone, of course, is gearing up for their own district meets.

We mentioned records falling, right? Sabine freshman Roberts broke the school’s record for the girls 400 meter run, finishing it in 1 minute, .15 seconds.
