‘AGENT ZERO’ MAKES IT OFFICIAL | Cowboys’ Overshown marries Alexis Babino in Tyler (with larger, UPDATED photo gallery)

Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown knows a thing or two about comebacks, on the field and off.
The former Arp High School Tiger and Texas Longhorn has been a part of them at every level, including in his own personal way, coming back from injuries that have ended football careers for others.
But on Saturday, at The Villa in Tyler, there was no comeback needed: Overshown, whose nickname is “Agent Zero,” married No. 1.
With family, friends (including Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer) and well-wishers surrounding them, Overshown married the love of his life, the former Alexis Babino, Saturday at The Villa.
“Brand new man,” Overshown answered, after the ceremony. “I already feel like I’m times 10. You know you’ve got somebody beside you there that you don’t have to worry if they’re going to be there tomorrow or the next minute. That’s not something you take lightly, someone you cherish, someone you protect, someone that you love.
“I’m thankful. I can already feel the joining of our families. It’s gonna be a fun night.”
Alexis, who went to high school at Pflugerville Connally and then to the University of Texas, as well, has been there with DeMarvion throughout his Cowboys career, including missing time with his most recent knee injuries.
“Our chemistry is like no other,” Alexis said. “I love this man. I’m so blessed.”
“Chemistry is definitely there,” DeMarvion said, “and it’s been there since the first minute we met, since the first moment, it’s been that way.”
“…When you’ve got somebody to come home to — like I said, when you know you’ve got that peace at home — everybody knows the work I do comes with a lot of outside drama, and a whole lot of stress. When you’ve got somebody at home that you know when your next meal is coming from, your next back rub is coming from, that’s stuff you get to look forward to. That’s stuff that you get up and you’re ready to work. That little hurt don’t hurt as much when you get to come home to a wife, a queen. My whole thing is making her life easy.
“So if I’ve got to go to work and put in 12 hours (a day) to get us a Super Bowl and make sure she’s happy, then I’m gonna go get that Super Bowl.”
“I’m his Tyler Rose,” Alexis said, with a smile. “Getting married in East Texas was extremely important to us. It was a very full-circle moment.”
In a twist, the new Mrs. Overshown was asked what she was most looking forward to for the 2026 football season.
“I’m just ready to watch him do what he does best,” she said, “ready to go out on that field, and I’m excited to watch what DeMarvion Overshown, ‘Agent Zero,’ ready for him to get back on that field and shine like that star like he always does.”
Local businesses Chelita’s Tacos (Arp), JW’s BBQ (Jacksonville) and Posh Petal Designs (Tyler) helped in a big way to make the private ceremony a success.
Even though he has missed some time since being drafted by Dallas as the No. 90 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft on April 28, 2023, Overshown makes the Cowboys so much better when he’s in the lineup.
In 19 games (17 of them starts), Overshown has 118 tackles, 71 of them solo, five sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
As an Arp Tiger, in just his senior season, Overshown split time at linebacker and defensive end, and had a heck of a year: 142 tackles (14 for loss), five sacks, five interceptions, 13 pass breakups, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Overshown decided to come back to Texas for his senior season (2022), and had a great year. In 12 games, he had 96 tackles (10 for loss), four sacks and five pass breakups.
