TATUM at DAINGERFIELD TONIGHT | …and then a full weekend (except Kilgore)
One game tonight, one show.
And it’s between a pair of teams who likely both think they should still be unbeaten.
Tatum visits Daingerfield tonight, a 7 p.m. kickoff at Mickey Mayne Tiger Stadium.
Tickets are $6 each for general admission for adults, $4 each for students, and can be purchased here: Daingerfield Tigers vs Tatum Eagles – Football Tickets – Sep 3, 2026.a
Tatum, one of 15 athletic programs covered by ETBlitz.com, lost in its season opener at home to West Rusk in a tight game last Friday night; Daingerfield lost that same night to Gladewater in a road game.
Coach Whitney Keeling’s Tatum Eagles have a lot of new faces on varsity. One of them is freshman Rogers Taylor, a running back who has already received collegiate offers. Taylor showed his versatility with a pair of catches last week, one of them for a touchdown, totaling 38 yards.
Quarterback Dane Moore, in his first game as a starter, threw for 80 yards and had the scoring pass to Taylor. He also scored twice on his own – his legs – and finished with 61 yards on 16 carries.
Tydric Moore was the Eagles’ leading rusher, with 105 yards.
Tatum had a defensive touchdown, as well: Alijah Williams returned a fumble 90 yards for a score, and also had an interception.
Coach Keeling’s Eagles are looking for their first seven-win season since 2021.
That matchup is tonight.
