Arizona State defensive lineman C.J. Fite, who roamed the halls at Tatum High School — and put fear into opponents at Tatum’s Eagle Stadium — is coming home. He’s bringing brother Trey with him. And they’re doing so to help area kids master the game they love.

The brothers Fite will host the first-ever Fite 2 The Top Football Camp on Saturday, May 16, back at Eagle Stadium that day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. They’ll welcome third through 12th grade students who want to learn the fundamentals of football and more skills — and there’s no cost.
Trey has finished up his time as a college standout, having spent the bulk of his eligibility at the University of Louisiana, and then this past season at the University of Texas-San Antonio. C.J. already has his degree at ASU, but has announced he will indeed return for his final season of eligibility in Tempe.
It”ll be a crazy season for Arizona State, one that will include a trip to College Station to meet Texas A&M; a trip to London and Wimbley Stadium to face Kansas (oddly enough, for a Big 12 Conference game); a home game against Baylor in Tempe on Oct. 3; and a home opener against Morgan State on Sept. 5.
The Sun Devils are almost two seasons removed from their first-ever participation in the College Football Playoff (the 2024 season) and a Big 12 title.
Here is the registration form for the Fite Brothers’ camp, in which all campers receive a T-shirt.
