THEY MADE THE LIST! | Carthage’s Crawford, ME’s Ash join DCTF’s Rising 100 list (Kilgore’s Graves, Carthage duo already there)
From time to time, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football hits on something that we just can’t resist mentioning here, and they’ve done that today.
DCTF has a list — they’re always doing lists of some kind, and they’re usually really good — of their Rising 100, and this time, it includes a few players from the programs in the ETBlitz.com coverage area, as it should.
New to the list from schools that ETB covers:
Carthage linebacker Carson Crawford (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) is new to the list at 44 and Mount Enterprise’s Kaegan Ash (6-0, 200 pounds, No. 45). They’ve got Ash, whose doing all kinds of crazy things at running back, listed as an athlete because he appears to be headed to Texas Tech to play linebacker.
They also name Ash and Crawford’s teammate at Carthage, running back K.J. Edwards (5-9, 175) as two that are making a difference in the playoffs — Edwards is headed to Texas A&M, by the way, and Crawford is a verbal commitment to Colorado.
Edwards is high in their Rising 100: he’s No. 4.
Here’s another couple of familiar names: Carthage linebacker Daquives Beck, checking in at No. 31, and Kilgore wide receiver/ linebacker LaKeyleon Graves (74).
