NEW POLL HITS | Carthage still 1 (and the sky is still blue); Kilgore still third; Troup ninth in 3A-DII
EDITOR’S NOTE: These are the latest rankings of high school football from every classification in the state of Texas, from Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. ETBlitz.com recognizes the DCTF rankings as the true, the only, real poll of state high school football programs. The schools in the ETB coverage area are Kilgore, Henderson, and Pine Tree (all Class 4A, Division I), Carthage and Gilmer (both 4A, Division II), Tatum, Gladewater, White Oak and Sabine (all in 3A, Division I), Arp, Troup and West Rusk (all in 3A, Division II), Beckville (in 2A, Division I), Overton (in 2A, Division II), and finally, Leverett’s Chapel (in 1A, Division I), our only six-man program. The polls are released by DCTF every Monday. This poll was released Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, the poll following the first weekend of play. This has all of the polls from DCTF, although ETBlitz.com does not currently cover any 5A or 6A programs.
