Well, here it is.

Here’s your official invitation to join ETBlitz.com’s College Bowl Contest.

To enter, it’s simple, but it’ll take you a minute, because you need to fill out the complete list: all the bowl games and the complete College Football Playoff bracket, from the very first bowl game through the bitter end, where you’re asked where the two teams are that will make the national championship game and what your tiebreakers will be.

Circle your winners in each bowl game and the playoff games, fill out your complete list and put your name, cell phone number and a good working email on your list. Take pictures of your list and send them as if you were sending photos in a text to a friend to ETBlitz.com here at (903) 812-7796, or email them to jlucas@etblitz.com.

That’s it. You’re entered. Here’s the catch: the first bowl game is this Saturday morning. You can see the schedule below. So the deadline for entry needs to be Friday at noon. We’ll need any entry by Friday at noon.

What happens if you win?

Well, you’ll get a really cool prize package — last year, that included a tailgate package from Clower Meats in Kilgore and Dr. Pepper, and was won by Billy Chrisman, who won the right to join our ETBlitz crew and the picks panel for the 2025 season. We’ll do that again. If you win the College Bowl Contest, you get the opportunity to join the panel for the ’26 season, and… well, the prize package will be something special once again. It’s under construction, we’ll say.

So, Clower Meats.

Clower Meats is an institution in Kilgore. Heck, Clower Meats is an institution in East Texas.

And if you’ve never heard of Clower Meats, maybe you should be PUT in an institution.

Nah, just kidding.

Clower Meats is located at 2705 Highway 42 North in Kilgore (near the intersection of 42 and Highway 31. Since 1969, the Clower family has been providing East Texas with the very best meats, from steaks and hams to cube steak and even beef jerky. And they’re the home of “Oilfield Sausage.” Clower Meats: the best meats in Texas for 56 years and STILL owned by the Clower family to this VERY day!

Here’s the 2025-26 ETBlitz.com College Bowl Contest entry form. Each bowl game has a link to the ESPN page to help you read up on each game a little bit for some preparation. Good luck! And remember, the deadline is this Friday, Dec. 12, at noon. By the way — take note that the College Football Playoff actually starts on Dec. 19 with Alabama at Oklahoma.
