WR’S VAZQUEZ, McCANDLESS TO KC | Raiders become Rangers after signing day

Former West Rusk High School football players Isiah Vazquez (above) and Hunter McCandless (below) were the center of attention on Wednesday for a National Signing Day ceremony. Both Isiah and Hunter will join the Kilgore College Rangers football program, as they begin their college careers.

McCandless and Vazquez join a KC program looking to return to prominence — to dominance, actually — in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference. KC went 3-6 this past season. Vazquez and McCandless are part of a big class of 52 signees by the Rangers. Below: the two West Rusk signees pose with teammates after signing.
