EDITOR’S NOTE: Several high school cheer programs from the ETBlitz.com coverage area are going to compete at the University Interscholastic a league (UIL) State Spirit Championships on Thursday and Friday at the Fort Worth Convention Center, with Sabine, Tatum, and White Oak competing at the Class 3A-Division I level on Thursday (Gladewater Cheer will be there to observe); Arp and Troup will be there Thursday to compete at 3A-Division II; and Kilgore and Gilmer compete on Friday against 4A-Division I and 4A-Division II teams. Here’s our story from earlier Wednesday (IT’S UIL STATE CHEER COMPETITION! | Cheer teams from the ETB area hit the road to Fort Worth to compete Thursday & Friday! (W/VIDEO!)). Earlier today, we saw Tatum leave school, and then we saw the Eagles’ cheerleaders warm up at Buc-ees! (TATUM WARMS UP AT BUC-EES! | It’s a tradition!). White Oak Cheer went for supper at world-famous Billy Bob’s on Wednesday night, and here’s a glimpse of how it went! (Thanks to Stacey Clair Morrow and Roughneck Cheer!)
