WANNA SEE THE BRACKETS? | Here’s the paths to AT&T Stadium for all 12 state championships / PRESENTED BY GOUDARZI & YOUNG, LLP

The University Interscholastic League will crown 12 state champions in high school football between Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 20. Here, through our friends at Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, are the brackets for each of those divisions, from the largest (the 6A classifications) through the six-man divisions (the 1A classifications). And we’d ask that you’d consider subscribing to DCTF, the source for high school football in this state. You can see that advertisement in this entry; just click on that to read more. ETBlitz.com editor / publisher Mitch Lucas is a DCTF subscriber, and along with the daily content, he also gets the annual magazine. Guys, that’s a GREAT deal. Below, you’ll find the seven ETBlitz.com-area programs that are still in the UIL playoffs: Kilgore and Pine Tree (both still playing in Class 4A-Division I), Carthage (in 4A-DII), Troup and Arp (both in 3A-DII), Beckville (in 2A-DI), and Overton (in 2A-DII). This weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, is round three, the regional semifinal round. Let’s go 7-0 in round three!
By the way, if you know someone who could benefit from having a turkey this Thanksgiving without having to pay, the staff at Goudarzi & Young, LLP is going to be very busy both Monday and Tuesday with their seventh annual turkey giveaway. This is not for business — this is to help East Texans who are in need. Today, Monday, people who need a turkey to help feed their family this Thanksgiving can get one at the Maude Cobb Convention Center at 100 Grand Boulevard in Longview, beginning at 10 a.m. On Tuesday, also starting at 10 a.m., folks in Gilmer can begin pick-up at Gilmer Elementary School, at 1625 U.S. Highway 271 North. And happy Thanksgiving from the Law Offices of Goudarzi & Young, LLP.
