SFA sports compete in the Western Athletic Conference, and the Lumberjacks picked up a win over Southern Utah, 87-60, on Thursday at home, at William R. Johnson Coliseum at the heart of the campus there in Nacogdoches. Just over 1,500 people were in attendance.

SFA (16-14 overall, 9-10 in the WAC) has only one game left on its regular season schedule, and it’s today, at home, against Utah Tech. After Saturday’s game against Utah Tech, the Lumberjacks will play in the WAC Tournament next week in Las Vegas, March 13-16, and they may have to win that to get into the main NCAA Men’s Tournament Field.
