OVERTON STATE TITLE GAME GALLERY | By RONNIE SARTORS
It didn’t turn out like they or their fans wanted, but Overton High School baseball finished its season where a lot of teams would have liked to have been Thursday: playing for a state championship in Round Rock.
The Mustangs lost to Collinsville in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 2A Division II state title game, 12-0, at Dell Diamond in the first of 11 state baseball championship games. Coach Cris Cook and the Mustangs wrapped up the season 31-9, and the title game was not as one-sided as it sounded: Collinsville scored four runs in the first inning, then eight runs late in a seven inning where things just snowballed on the Mustangs.
Here, through the lense of longtime photographer Ronnie Sartors, is a gallery of shots from the contest. at ETBlitz, we hated the outcome, but when the dust settles, it’ll still be remembered as a special season.

Great pictures as always!
Great Photos Ronnie. Wished Overton could have won, but they had a great season.
