ONCE A BUCKEYE, ALWAYS A BUCKEYE | But some Gilmer seniors moving on after signing letters of intent

Five Gilmer High School seniors were honored on National Signing Day Wednesday, as they announced and confirmed where they will continue their education and athletic careers. Buckeyes signing national letters of intent (from left) were Jayna Rucker, who will play softball as she continues her education at Howard College; Korbyn Jones, who will resume his football career at Texas A&M-Texarkana; Trace Haynes, heading to Tyler Junior College to become a football Apache; Tyler Hagler, on his way to become a student and football player at Emporia State; and Celson James, who will run cross country and resume his education at Lubbock College. Congratulations to these Buckeyes, and best of luck with your college programs! (Photo courtesy of GILMER ISD ATHLETICS)
