LADY RANGERS SEAL TOURNEY SEED TODAY | KC at TJC at 2; both KC teams in RXIV event next week

Kilgore College’s Nakiyah Allen, a freshman from Lena, Louisiana and one of the Lady Rangers’ leading scorers, will try to help them get past Tyler Junior College today, a 2 p.m. tip-off at TJC in the regular season finale for both teams. It’ll be a warm-up of sorts for what’s to come next week, when TJC hosts the men’s and women’s versions of the Region XIV Conference Tournament at Floyd Wagstaff Gymnasium. Coach Robert Byrd’s KC Rangers have already finished their regular season and will be the No. 5 seed in the men’s tournament. Their first-round game in the tournament on Tuesday will be against 12th-seeded Bossier Parish, a rematch of their regular season finale this past Wednesday.
