KBBA ALL-STARS WINDING DOWN… | But 14-U state tourney is in Kilgore June 29-July 3!

All-star season in both the Kilgore Boys Baseball Association has about wrapped up – except for one pretty special event coming up in Kilgore that begins in late June, more on that in a bit – but before everyone gets left for vacation, let’s recognize the kids who played on into late May and June, and give ‘em a hand.

First of all, the Kilgore Boys Baseball Association’s Whataburger Youth Complex on Commerce Street will be the site for the 14-under Dixie Youth Baseball State Tournament this year, beginning June 29 and running through July 3, and of course, Kilgore’s 14-U All-Stars will be a part of the tournament.

More on that tournament later this week, and here are the 14-U KBBA All-Stars this season, in alphabetical order: Carson Bailey, Kaison Carlson, Kenzie Davis, Jefferey Easley, Amdyn Evans, Levi Garrett, Abram Henry, Blaine Jordan, Ian Meadows, Carter Moore, Ashton Trice, and Bentley Westerman. Their coach is Scott Dean.

Now, the champions for the different age groups in Kilgore’s KBBA this year…

The Royals won the 6-and-under championship; the Marlins won the 8-and-under championship; the Rangers won the 10-and-under title; the Dodgers won the 12-and-under title; and Kilgore Red won the 14-under championship.

KBBA’s 6-U T-Ball All-Star team in 2024 was Khyri Alexander, Dez Bower, Ryker Brown, Cooper Collins, Blake Davis, Logan Davis, Lelanna Galvan, Caleb Harvey, Oaklyn King, Kendal Moore, Jr., Jaylen Shepherd and Myles Wilson.

The 8-U Coach Pitch All-Stars this year were Logan Burnett, Bryce Burns, Waylon Culpepper, Dawson Darden, Holden Evans, Efran Mendez, Santi Ramirez, Elijah Shepherd, Carter Smith, Rustyn Smith, Cooper Welch and Henry Wiley.

Members of the 10-U All-Stars in KBBA this season were Carter Chitwood, Liam Clayton, Jaxson Hayes, Jesse Hendrix, Kaedyn Jackson, Christopher Kirk, Case Monoghan, Broxton Nault, J’Ceon Ray, Kris Richardson, Cayson Sheffield, and Bostyn Templeton.

And the 12-U KBBA All-Stars this year were Gunner Culpepper, Jaxon Darden, Kash Dixon, Levi Flores, A’Braylen King, Cooper Nichols, King Roney, Wyatt Sims, Jordan Terrones, Karter Thompson, Caleb Thurmond and Ray Williams.
