EDITOR’S NOTE: Here’s the latest edition of the ETBlitz Bulletin Board for 2026, presented by Clower Meats, the best and only REAL choice for quality meats in East Texas since the 1960s. The purpose of the Bulletin Board is to let you guys know when things are coming – not necessarily games, but things like tickets, fundraisers, golf tournament fundraisers, clay shoots – anything in the 15 communities that ETBlitz covers that is in the realm of sports that might be of interest. Spring registration deadline Monday
The deadline for spring registration (Spring 1 and Spring 2) is ongoing at Kilgore College. The deadline is January 12.

FAFSA-Palooza ongoing at KC
Students in need of help filling out FAFSA forms, or who have financial aid or admissions questions, are invited to attend Kilgore College’s 2026 FAFSA-Palooza, ongoing this month.
The next one is next Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in room 200 of the KC library on the main campus. Another is planned on Jan. 22 at the KC Longview campus in the Hendrix Building from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and then one last session is set for Jan. 28, back in room 200 of the KC library, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Class of 2026 Celebration parent meeting Monday
Any senior parent interested in helping with Kilgore High School’s Class of 2026 senior celebration is invited to the first meeting to discuss the event.
The meeting will be this coming Monday night, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.

Lions fishing team hosts first tournament
The team of Griffin Antunes and Trace Antunes won Henderson High School’s fishing team’s first-ever tournament last weekend at Martin Creek Lake, a bass tournament. The duo finished with 32.48 pounds. Nathaniel Marshall and Ryan Satterfield were second, at 20.01 pounds, and Braysen Runnels and Nick Lebrun were third, with 15.72 pounds. Congratulations, guys!
