Tatum High School senior Kamdyn Scott (seated, second from left on front, in MSU-Denver shirt)is pictured above with her teammates. Kamdyn has signed to continue her education and volleyball career at Metropolitan State University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. Scott is a multisport athlete at Tatum. She had her Lady Eagles teammates just completed volleyball season, and they’re about to begin their basketball journey. Tatum went 37-4 in volleyball, including a 12-0 record in district play and once again won the district championship, something the Lady Eagles did all four seasons of Scott’s varsity career, of course.

They won 93 sets this season, lost just 16, and made the regional tournament yet again.

On a personal statistics note, Kamdyn had an unbelievable 611 kills this season, 43 blocks, 279 digs, and 47 aces.

Oh, just wait.

In her career as a Lady Eagle, she had 2,090 kills, 221 blocks, 1,214 kills, and 213 aces. And her team went 157-26 during that time. Wow.

And of course, her basketball senior season is still to come.

She’s won the Whataburger / ETBlitz.com girls Player of the Week Award so many times, we’ve considered just naming the award after her.

Scott has said she plans to pursue a career in civil rights law.

As for MSU Denver, they’re the Roadrunners, and they compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
