COTTON BOWL INDUCTS EIGHT INTO HALL | …and the Rangerettes will be on hand (w/VIDEO)

You’ve probably heard it said: Cotton (Bowl) is King.
That’ll be true on Friday, as the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic will honor some of the great players that ever played in that game.
It’s the 14th Cotton Bowl Classic Hall of Fame class, and don’t you know the Kilgore College Rangerettes – a Cotton Bowl fixture – will be a part of it, and that ETBlitz.com will be on hand to document it.
The process will be at the West Plaza, the Miller LiteHouse, at AT&T Stadium on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m., with the induction ceremony beginning at noon. And you can see it live on the Cotton Bowl’s YouTube Channel here: Cotton Bowl Classic – YouTube.
So, who are this year’s inductees? Well, some tremendous names:
- Notre Dame fullback Jerome Bettis
- Texas linebacker Randy Braband
- Ole Miss head coach David Cutcliff
- Nebraska running back Tony Davis
- Fin Ewing III, the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association’s chief ambassador, past chair and former team selection and playoff committee chair
- CBAA historian Charie Fiss

The master of ceremonies will be Dallas Cowboys legendary broadcaster Brad Sham.
After the induction ceremony wraps up, around 1:15 p.m., the inductees will have an autograph session.
