BORDERS BAGS PRIZE! | South Dakota hunt yields a nice one for Kilgore man

While visiting daughter Sydni with his wife Beverly in South Dakota, Kilgore outdoorsman Dereck Borders (pictured here) went hunting and brought home this pheasant. Borders was hunting with Sydni, her fiancé, rodeo athlete Bodee Lammers, and ranch manager/ guide Kyle Grott and his wife Katie, who operate the South Dakota State University Cottonwood Research Station there at Phillip, South Dakota. Borders took the pheasant in some corn fields on Friday, Nov. 24 with a 12 gauge Winchester 101 over/under shotgun.
