EDITOR’S NOTE: Photographers Dennis Jacobs and Alex Nabor weren’t available to ETBlitz.com on Friday for Kilgore’s UIL Class 4A-Division I playoff game in Corsicana against Navasota. But Jenna Lucas and Ashtyn Lucas were roaming the sidelines. Here’s what they came up with. Y’all enjoy!

The Kilgore High School Hi-Steppers celebrated their 50th anniversary last school year. The Hi-Steppers, KHS band, cheerleaders and Stomp & Shake Team are all integral parts of the high school football experience at a Kilgore High School game, but they’re all so much more than that, each capturing the true spirit of growing up as a Kilgore Bulldog. Kilgore players come off the field after taking care of business, a 62-7 win over the Navasota Rattlers. Kilgore moves on to a rematch with Chapel Hill in the 4A-DI Region 3 Finals this Friday at Forney. The winner will be in the 4A-DI final eight in the state. The Bulldogs beat the “other” Bulldogs from Tyler, 42-7, back on October 11. It’s hard to admit, but Chapel Hill has ended Kilgore’s season the last three years. Can the Ragin’ Red get rid of the ghosts and get past Chapel Hill? We’ll see on Friday night. (Video by ASHTYN LUCAS – ETBLITZ.COM)
