EDITOR’S NOTE: We’re putting all of the University Interscholastic League’s football playoff brackets online in case any of you guys would just be interested in seeing the road to the state championships, played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Dec. 18-21. Here are the 2A brackets, both divisions, with the rest to follow. These brackets are courtesy of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, and we thank them for doing that. Overton (10-2) will take on Grapeland (9-3) in the 2A-Division II regional semifinals at 6 p.m. Friday at Athens’ Bruce Field. The Overton-Grapeland winner would face either Mount Enterprise or Bremond in the regional finals next week.
