THE WIN IN PICTURES | An Overton-Mart photo gallery by RONNIE SARTORS

EDITOR’S NOTE: Here are several photos by our own Ronnie Sartors, of Sport Shot Photography, from Overton’s 31-30 take-down of multi-time state finalist Mart on Friday night at Kemp High School, in round two of the University Interscholastic League’s Class 2A, Division II playoffs. The Mustangs are now 10-2, and move on to round three this coming week. They’ll face one of their district rivals, Grapeland, and when we have details, we’ll place them right here on ETBlitz.com. Enjoy the work of the great Ronnie Sartors, and find him on Facebook, where he posts even more good stuff. Thank you, Ronnie!

Bryson Bobbitt (11) had seven catches for 111 yards and a touchdown, and if you need him, just call Mart, because they’re seeing him in their nightmares. Here, Bobbitt eludes a Mart defender. (Photo by RONNIE SARTORS – SPORT SHOT PHOTOGRAPHY and ETBLITZ.COM)
Still winds up for a throw while under pressure from Mart. The two-time Whataburger / ETBlitz.com Player of the Week sure lived up to it again Friday night: 246 yards passing and two touchdowns, and two additional touchdowns on the ground, as the Mustangs’ leading rusher in the game. Mart managed to hold the great Jayden Edwards, who has over 1,400 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns this season, to just two catches Friday night at Kemp. But guess what? They couldn’t stop him here. Edwards made this reception on a slant-in pass for a first down on Overton’s final scoring drive — you know, the one that BEAT Mart, 31-30!
