Eyes of Texas high school football will be on Gilmer-Carthage, KHS-Chapel Hill, WR-Troup / GABRIEL JORDAN / ETB POWER PICKS!
Question: If you’re a Gilmer football fan, have you had Friday, October 30 circled since it was announced the Buckeyes would play host to the two-time reigning, defending 4A, Division II state champion Carthage? And are the Buckeyes ready to take the next step, and deal Carthage a loss that could force at least a split district title?
Question: If you’re a Carthage fan — is it just another Friday? No, but Carthage has played in more than their share of games with playoff implications, probably more than any team in the state in the last 20 seasons.
Question: Who gets the fourth and final playoff spot in District 8-4A, Division I? Kilgore? Chapel Hill? Palestine???!!
There are all kinds of questions. And it’s time to get the answers.
