NEW LOOK! | ETBlitz has one, and it’ll be controlled by local athletes
Starting today – on day one of “Snowmageddon II,” I guess – ETBlitz.com will have a bit of a new look.
And our sports teams will control it.
We’re starting a tradition with the top of our site. From now on, when a team wins a state championship – or gets tremendously close to doing so – their picture will be our banner photo on the site.
Because of that, you’ll see that the 2025 Carthage High School Bulldogs are the main photo atop ETBlitz.com. Carthage won the UIL Class 4A, Division II state football championship – their 11th overall and back-to-back with the 2024 team – in December at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Carthage football will stay there a bit, but with success could come a change. If, say, the Kilgore High School Bulldogs boys or girls soccer team wins the 4A state title, they’d replace the ‘Dawgs. Or if we have a track athlete from one of the programs in our coverage area to medal, it might be them.
