MARK IT! | Standings for high school football after the first two weeks of play (with scores, upcoming games)
EDITOR’S NOTE: Week three of the high school football season is this weekend, and the district schedules for most of the teams in the ETBlitz coverage area won’t start until at least next week; for some, there might even be two more weeks of non-district play. But here are the districts in East Texas that include teams from the ETBlitz.com coverage area. These have the teams’ records after week two, as well as points those teams scored, and points scored against them in two games already played (Carthage was off this past weekend, but most everyone else played). When district play begins, the standings will be updated here on ETB every week. Thanks to our own Joe Hale for this work. Teams that ETBlitz.com covers are Kilgore, Henderson, and Pine Tree in Class 4A, Division I; Carthage and Gilmer in Class 4A, Division II; White Oak, Tatum, Gladewater and Sabine in 3A, Division I; Arp, Troup and West Rusk in 3A, Division II; Beckville in Class 2A, Division I; Overton in Class 2A, Division II; and Leverett’s Chapel in Class 1A, Division I.
