3A DI, DII BRACKETS | Featuring Troup, in action at Pirate Stadium Friday night vs. DeKalb

EDITOR’S NOTE: We tried this earlier this week, with a little bit of a technical issue. Let’s try it again, but with each University Interscholastic League (UIL) classification separated. Here are this weekend’s brackets for the UIL 3A Division I and 3A Division II brackets, so that if you’d like, you can look ahead and see what future matchups could be in the next few weeks, and see who could face off. The ETBlitz.com coverage area doesn’t have a program left in the 3A-DI playoffs; Malakoff, ranked No. 1 in the DCTF state 3A-DI poll most of the season, defeated Tatum in round one, at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium. But we’ve included it here, due to potential interest for you guys. Also here is the bracket for 3A-DII, which includes Troup. Troup (8-3), led by coach Sam Wells, takes on Dekalb (10-1) on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Longview at Pine Tree ISD Pirate Stadium.
